I decided to be “fancy” and use cavatappi pasta, which is super good if you haven’t tried it yet. Air fryer macaroni and cheese balls are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and so good, you won’t believe they’re not deep-fried. The secret to a good, baked macaroni and cheese is a crispy top that covers a soft, creamy bottom. This IS the best chocolate sheet cake ever. This recipe also easily doublesbecause one can't have too much mac 'n' cheese. As you may already know, I have a “thang” for Velveeta Mac & Cheese. Don’t be alarmed if the sauce looks thin at first: It will continue to thicken as it bakes with the noodles.
